Avery's pages

Well now that I'm caught up on our family album, I've been working at Avery's baby book. I must say, it sure is fun scrap booking for a little girl. There are so many fun girly things to do!

Here are a few of my favourite pages I've done so far. I was inspired for some pages by other peoples pages on http://www.oscrape.com/. It is a great place for ideas. It's also fun to look back at Avery's baby pic's... I know she is still a baby. But over the course of 7 months she has changed and grown up so much!

Avery is rolling and moving lots, not crawling yet but she wants to so bad! I find it quite funny (I use the word "funny" loosely, because sometimes it's a bit annoying) how her favourite toys seem to be our dogs toys and garbage cans and chairs, everything but her own baby toys. Well she likes those too, but seems to love putting Kona's ball and bone in her mouth (I know... gross) and rolling to garbage cans and things like that and pulling them down and putting them in her mouth. I know all you Mom's are saying "it's only just begun."

I really need to baby proof my house soon since shes on the go now, but I keep putting it off. Its the decorator in me... I like my nice accessories and things like that! haha! My friend Stefanie was over last week and I was just telling her how Avery really hasn't gotten into any of the house stuff yet... and she made her way to the coffee table and grabbed a plate with candles and rocks in it! We had a good laugh, and that has now been raised to the upper shelf of the coffee table. I keep telling myself Avery will just be perfect and not touch Mommy's nice stuff... ya right! But I'm loving watching her grow and learn every day.

My Birthday!!!

Hi everyone,
Thanks to all my wonderful friends and family that wrote such nice birthday wishes on my facebook! Yes, it is my birthday. Its been a nice relaxing day. Jordan made french toast this morning (my favourite) and then Kamry came and watched Avery while I went and met Jordan for lunch. Jordan works down town at the Bell Tower, so we went to this nice restaurant across from the Westin hotel. Its called 100 something... haha, sorry I can't remember the name. But very good and very nice decor (one of my favourite things about going out to eat is checking out the decor.) I wanted to steal one of there chandeliers, if anyone wants to be my accomplice, let me know!
Every week I write a "to do" list and break it down by day. For today I booked... nothing! And I guess since I'm a busy person I almost don't know what to do with myself! So why not do things I enjoy and sometimes don't have time for like blogging?!
Even though I posted some things yesterday... I have some new pics of Avery I thought I'd put up. Anyways, I will maybe go watch some "One Tree Hill" while Avery's napping (yes, that is the show I'm into right now, I borrowed them from my sister in law Kelli, I'm almost done season 5, woo hoo!)
Have a good one!
xoxo, Breanne
Okay, this picture was when Avery has her bad cold. She just sat on the couch like this for a while watching a cartoon, it was so sad! But you know when something is so sad, its almost cute, that's how this picture is for me. I almost cry looking at it!

Avery trying out her new wheels!

She loves smacking her lips together lately, its quite funny.

March update & new pages

Well March is here, if you live in Edmonton it sure doesn't feel that way! It supposed to get better, but yesterday got to -40! I'm sorry, that is just wrong! I didn't leave my house except to take Kona out.

And tomorrow is my birthday! I'm 24, next year I'll be a 1/4 of a century! It sounds old, but I don't feel old! I don't know why 24 sounds so old, I honestly feel like I'm 20 and newly wed, that's how fast time flies!

Well I've been busy scrapbooking, I'm really loving digital scrapbooking. I've included some new pages below. I'm officially caught up! I don't think I've said that... ever! Its a nice feeling, I'm sure it won't last. Now I'm going to get on Avery's baby book and try and keep up with that.

Question: What have you other mom's done for you kids baby books, like how long do you do it for? I was thinking until they are 2, and then past that goes into the family scrapbook. Any feed back?

I'm so happy that I've realized digital scrapbooking still lets me express my creative side! Its fun building up my pages, and the best part is I can leave it mid project and there's no mess! And that's important when you have a 7 month old!

Oh and Avery and Jordan are wonderful. Jordan is busy as usual with work and church calling and just life! He thankfully is great at always finding time for Avery and I. Avery gets so excited when he comes home, its very sweet! And Avery... I just fall more and more in love with that girl every day! I swear I kissed her chubby cheeks like 50 times today! She's sitting on her own now, which is so cute! The other day I had a baby Einstein on and she was sitting in the living room watching it, just sitting on the floor on her own. I swear I almost teared up because she looked so old, I know pathetic hey!

And this picture below is of my family taken at Tanner's wedding. Avery is missing because she was at home with my Grandma. But I just love it, it turned out so nice! I love my family, it's fun seeing us all grow up!

Speaking of my family, Kamry is pregnant! She is due October. 2! Its fun Avery will have a cousin about 14 months apart! Well that's all for now. Enjoy the pages. I have some recent pictures of Avery on my camera, so once I get those off I'll put them up.

Photo announcements / cards

Well I've realized I have not blogged in March yet! So this is just a quick post, until later tonight I'll have more time (once my little monkey... I mean princess is in bed) to update you all on our lives, and I'm going to post some more scrapbook pages and some pics.
So since I've entered the digital scrapbooking world I've started doing some photo cards / announcements. It started for Avery's birth announcement and thank yous, and then I've done some wedding thank yous and Christmas cards for some close friends and family.
I thought I'd post some of what I've done over the last few months for myself and some others. Its fun to do, especially when the pictures are so beautiful themselves!
